Thanks to these aerial shots, one may catch a glimpse of the Jardin du Bātiment extent. We may notice a will to create different open spaces, let's even say "green salons", which define a vegetable architecture extending and completing that of the main house. These photographs serve as an introduction to the visit we offer you as you may admire, from the huge garden-door, the central courtyard and its eight parterres in box, its two parasol pines. The famous "theatre de verdure" is located behind the pergola, of which we'll talk at length later on. Further, still on the east side, the fields, where a vegetable garden and a fruit orchard are being created. Backtracking, on the east wing of the house again, a small cloister, which leads to the terrace that towers above the rear garden and its four squares of lawn in two large axes. This rear garden stretches all the way to the water mirror and the hillside that finishes the perspective. Back to the west wing, the "boschetto" and, close to the Bātiment, the 16th century dovecot. ![]()
